After a four-year run, the cast of “Star Wars: The Rise of Skywalker” said goodbye at the film’s premiere. “The Rise of Skywalker” serves as the final film in the Skywalker sequel trilogy.

“The moment feels like we did it. We made it to the top,” Oscar Isaac said on the red carpet. Isaac was joined in his sentiments by his cast members. “This is a lead-up, so I’m cool,” John Boyega said. “This is the first time we’re showing it to members of the public so I can’t wait for them to see it more than anything.”

“There’s a character in this one that I think is going to be a lot of people’s favorite,” Naomi Ackie teased on the carpet. “I’m not sure. It’s small.” But viewers shouldn’t get their hopes up for a Baby Yoda cameo, according to director J.J. Abrams. However, Abrams did confess he also feels the same intense admiration “The Mandalorian” fans are feeling for the young green character.

Some of the “Star Wars” cast members were already looking forward to the next possible addition to the franchise. “Wouldn’t it be great to see the history of the resistance pilots?” Greg Grunberg said.

Star Wars: The Rise of Skywalker” premieres nationally Dec. 20.
